Venus Williams captured her fifth Wimbledon title—and her first against her sister Serena—in the 2008 Wimbledon single women's final. Quickly establishing a 4-2 lead, the younger Serena at first seemed on track to beat her sister for the title, as she had in both 2002 and 2003. Venus, however, came back to win the match in two sets, 7-5 6-4.BBC: Venus Williams captured her fifth Wimbledon title (July 5, 2008)
