There are three different types of collectibles available in Velvet Assassin, the action game developed by Replay Studios for the Xbox 360 and PC.

The Collectibles
There are eight letters to find in Velvet Assassin, one in each level of the game. The majority of them are easy to spot and collecting them all earns the player the Curiosity achievement. Each letter provides background information about the missions and can be accessed from the main menu.The seven secret objectives are not exactly collectibles. They require the player to perform certain tasks in a particular way. For example, in the The Lost - Valley chapter of the game, players must reach the bunker entrance without being detected. Each time an objective is successfully completed, the player will earn a corresponding achievement.
Also scattered throughout each level are various other items, 69 in total. These include Knight's Cross medals, signet rings, music boxes and a variety of other objects. Finding all collectibles in the game unlocks the Eagle Eye achievement, worth 50 Gamerscore points.IGN: Velvet Assassin Collectibles and Secrets

In Velvet Assassin, British spy Violette must make her way behind enemy lines during World War II. From the shadows, she must infiltrate Axis occupied locations, sneak into a Nazi prison camp to off her own men, and lure enemies to their unsuspecting deaths.The game features a unique hyper-realistic graphic style. Velvet Assassin Letters Locations
- The Lost - Fuel Storage
- On a table next to a radio in the room after the dining room.
- Death of the Butcher - Crypt
- On a table by the stairs leading to the exit, in the room with three guards and an altar.
- Leave a Light On - Docks
- In the building with windows Violette can climb through, in the room with an officer, look for a desk in the back of the room by a fuse box.
- The Third Man - Sewers
- Near a ladder, on a crate next to a Lighter collectible.
- The Third Man - Ghetto
- After grabbing a key from the patrolling officer, look inside the hut next to a Silver Luger collectible.
- The Third Man - Prison
- On the first floor near the stairs, look on the bed inside the prison cell.
- Le Boeuf
- In the boathouse basement next to the crane release lever.
- Fade to Grey - Hospital
- In the head doctor's office, the room with the cupboard Violette hides in.
Velvet Assassin Secret Objectives
- The Lost - Valley
- Reach the bunker entrance without being detected. This requires killing all guards silently.
- The Lost - Fuel Storage
- Reach the bunker's secret room for some fine wine. In the room with the shadow of a large fan visible on the floor, there's a door concealing a breakable wall.
- Death of the Butcher - Crypt
- Hide the golden statue in a hole in the wall. After turning off the electricity, look for some moveable crates near some statues.
- Leave a Light On - Docks
- Kill the German submarine captains. They can be found in a hut near a large crane and in a hut next to the safe's room.
- The Third Man - Ghetto
- Kill all the enemies in the level, including snipers.
- The Third Man - Prison
- Kill the prison officer in his secret room. Use a lever concealed behind a painting in the commander's office, the room with the Diplomatic Corps Dagger collectible.
- Le Boeuf
- Find the Collaborators List, a hidden collectible in the cellar's secret room. Move the crate to the left to reveal the room's entrance.
