About the Game
Velvet Assassin is set during World War II. British secret agent Violette Summer, inspired by real-life spy Violette Szabo, worked in a beaty salon. When the war began, she moved to London to help with weapons production. The beautiful and athletic brunette quickly draws the attention of the British military's Secret Services, who recruit her as a spy. She is tasked with infiltrating the Nazi war machine and carrying out covert missions.Developer Replay Studios used a proprietary lighting system to create the stark contrast between light and shadows that players must learn to use effectively during the game. There are 12 levels modeled after real-life locations and, because the majority of the game takes places behind enemy lines, players will see up close the stark reality of a violent war.
