Velvet Assassin is inspired by the real-life story of Violette Szabo, a secret agent during World War II, who was instrumental in helping the Allied Forces. In the game, players control Violette Summer through her many missions behind enemy lines to obtain valuable information. Velvet Assassin is an action game that combines elements of shooters and stealth games. The game's publisher claims the game will deliver a "brutally truthful representation of the danger of operating in enemy territory."
