Vantage Point is a 2008 thriller film directed by Pete Travis and starring Matthew Fox, Forest Whitaker, Sigourney Weaver and William Hurt.
The film revolves around the attempted assassination of a President (played by William Hurt), which is experienced from six different viewpoints. The first perspective is that of Rex Brook, a TV news producer played by Sigourney Weaver. Then there's the secret service agents' perspectives, who are played by Dennis Quaid and Matthew Fox. We also get to see the point of view of a local cop, played by Eduardo Noriega. Next, we follow a tourist named Howard Lewis (played by Forest Whitaker), who thinks he's captured the assassin on his camcorder. Finally, we also get to see the perspectives of the President and the terrorists themselves as they execute their plan.
