Vans Evolution
The original Vans in 1966 were made in a small store by custom order. They were first designed with a diamond tread which after discovery by skateboarders, would crack apart, leaving the company to create a heavy duty sole using vertical lines and a strong grip. The brand now makes a variety of styles from slip on to lace up with the new and improved waffle sole. Their online store even allows you to customize your own. -
