Vanna White is co-host of the popular and long running game show Wheel of Fortune. She began turning over letters on the board in 1982. Thanks to technology, now all she has to do is touch the letters as they appear electronically. She has also worked as an author, actress and hand model.
White is a beloved figure who many credit with the sustained success of Wheel of Fortune. She showcases a different gown in each episode, and engages in banter with longtime Wheel co-host Pat Sajak at the end of each show.
In the 1980's, she dated a Chippendale dancer named John Gibson who later died in a plane crash. She married her husband George Santo Pietro in 1991; 11 years later she divorced him and took custody of her two children, Nicholas and Giovanna. She has appeared in many television series such as Married...with Children, The Wayne Brady Show, The King of Queens and Just Shoot Me. She has also had roles in a few movies.
