Ice's wife, Laura Van Winkle called the police on Thursday evening around 7:15, claiming that her husband had hit and kicked her, but later told deputies that he had only pushed her. She was uninjured in the incident, but said that she wants a divorce.

Ice was found on his motorcycle two blocks from his home, and told police that he only left the house so that his wife could cool down. He denied pushing his wife, but admitted that the two had been fighting since the previous day. He explained that his wife suffered from bipolar disorder for which she takes medication, but is still subject to "irrational episodes."

Ice previously spent a night in jail following a domestic dispute in 2001.
