• Vanessa Redgrave is an English actress who is known for her theatrical, television and film credits as well as for her social activism. Some of her most recent works include Nip Tuck, The Pledge and Atonement.

  On March 16, 2009, Natasha Richardson, Redgrave's daughter, was involved in a skiing accident in Quebec, Canada, where she died from a traumatic brain injury two days later. • Natasha Richardson's Death

  Richardson was critically injured in a skiing accident on March 16, 2009, in Quebec, Canada, when she fell during a private skiing lesson. She died two days later from massive head trauma. Her private viewing was held on March 20th with her funeral taking place two days later at St. Peter's Church in Millbrook, New York. She was laid to rest near her grandmother, Rachel Redgrave. • Acting Career

  Redgrave began her career in theater. She played in the productions of Cymbeline, The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie, The Tempest, Long Day's Journey Into Night and The Year of Magical Thinking. Her early works in film's include Morgan: A Suitable Case for Treatment, Blowup, Isadora, The Trojan Women and Mary, Queen of Scots. Her more recent works include A Rumor of Angels, The Pledge, The White Countess, Venus, Evening, The Riddle and Atonement.
