Vancouver Hotels

Vancouver is a city in the Canadian province of British Columbia and the third largest city in the country.

Luxury stay

There are nearly ten luxury hotels in Vancouver listed on the Condé Nast Traveller Gold List for 2008. Among them is the Wedgewood Hotel & Spa, also a Travel + Leisure 500 winner. There are 82 rooms and suites, all furnished with antiques and original artwork. The four Penthouse Suites are the best and most expensive rooms in the hotel. Two-person jacuzzi tubs, flat-screen tv's and wet bars are just a few of the long list of amenities the suites have to offer. Wedgewood's Bacchus Restaurant has a four-diamond AAA rating and serves "sumptuous French cuisine."

Affordable stay

Vancouver also has a few budget accommodations. A great example is the Victorian Hotel, a Fodor's Choice, located in the heart of the downtown district. Their claim to fame is being featured in a few movies, like Double Jeopardy, and television series, like The X Files. Prices include free in-room high speed internet access and a continental breakfast. For more budget-friendly options in the city, see the Mahalo page on Cheap Hotels Vancouver.
