Vance Bunker

Vance Bunker is a Portland, Maine, man accused of shooting 41-year-old Chris Young on July 21, 2009, in what was believed to be a turf war between lobster fishermen.

Officers claim they were called to the area prior to the shooting after a report of a dispute. The scuffle, over lobster fishing territory, allegedly escalated to the point where Bunker shot Young with a .22-caliber pistol. Young was air-lifted to a hospital in Lewiston to undergo surgery.
