Van Wilder

Van Wilder is the story of a college student who has made no attempt to graduate after seven years. His father finally decides to cut off his funds, so Van has to find other ways to pay his way through school.

In order to pay his tuition, Van (Ryan Reynolds) becomes a professional party thrower. Tara Reid plays Gwen, a writer for the college paper who does a story on Van, which she creates using accounts from fellow students. When her piece appears unflattering to Van, he attempts to get her to get to know the real him, all the while trying to get her to lose her snobby boyfriend.
