About the Game

In Valkyrie Profile: Covenant of the Plume, the Valkyrie Lenneth carried the soul of Wylfred's father to Valhalla. In the tragic aftermath of the loss of his father, Wylfred swears revenge on Lenneth. The Valkyrie appear to those who have fallen in glorious battle and met an honorable death. So Wylfred must become a mighty warrior and prove his worth in battle so that she will come to him.
Hel, the queen of the underworld, gives Wylfred a Valkyrie feather and promises that, with enough Sin, he can become powerful enough to defeat Lenneth. The Destiny Plume, when used in battle, will instantly give one party member god-like power. When the battle ends, however, that party member will be lost forever. Each time this happens, Wylfred's psyche is affected and will alter the path of his destiny.
There are numerous diverging choices presented throughout the game, resulting in a four different possible endings. It is possible to see all of the endings and characters in just under 30 hours.
