Valkyrie Profile: Covenant of the Plume is a role-playing game published by Square Enix for the Nintendo DS. The release date for this game was on March 16, 2009.

Storyline
The main character in the story is a young warrior named Wylfred. The warrior is determined to become a powerful supernatural warrior called an Einherjar. He wants to become an Einherjar, because they are powerful enough to kill gods. A goddess named Lenneth Valkyrie took the soul of Wylfred's father, and left his family in such poverty that Wylfred's little sister died of malnutrition. If he is able to become a Einherjar he'll have the power to get revenge and take down Lenneth Valkyrie. There are three different realms in the game, and they take after the realms of Norse mythology. The three realms are:- Asgard - This is the realm of the gods and it's where where Odin lives. Usually the realm is a paradise, but it's recently been damaged by a war between races.
- Midgard - The realm of the mortals. This is where the main character and his father are from.
- Niflheim - The land of the dead. The rules here are different than those of the other two realms, and even Odin doesn't doesn't dare mess around in this realm. The realm is ruled by Hel, who hates the Aesir of Asgard.Official Site: Valkyrie Profile Covenant of the Plume
