Valerie Bertinelli

As a teenager, actress Valerie Bertinelli starred on the 1970s sitcom One Day at a Time. Bertenelli is the ex-wife of musician Eddie Van Halen; they have a son together. Bertinelli wrote an autobiography titled Losing It--And Gaining My Life Back One Pound At A Time, in 2008. Bertinelli has spoken openly about her struggles with weigh and is a spokesperson for weight loss system Jenny Craig.

On April 11, 1981, Bertinelli married musician Eddie Van Halen. They had a son together named Wolfgang William Van Halen. The couple divorced on December 20, 2007. In 2004, Bertinelli began dating financial planner Tom Vitale.

Bertinelli made her acting debut in a J.C. Penny television commercial at the age of 11. In 1974, she made a guest appearance on the CBS drama Apple's Way. The following year, she became famous for her role on the sitcom One Day at a Time. The show ran from December 16, 1975 to May 28, 1984. From there, Bertinelli went on to play in television movies including Young Love, First Love, The Seduction of Gina, In a Child's Name, Murder of Innocence, and The Haunting of Helen Walker.
