History of St. Valentine's Day
Though the history if Valentine's Day is uncertain is does contain vestiges of both Christian and Roman traditions. Legend says that the day is rooted in the ancient Roman festival of Lupercalia, which was a celebration of fertility once commemoration February 15th.
