USC has played Ohio State 21 times since 1937, including seven times in the Rose Bowl. The Trojans lead the series, winning 11 games, losing nine and finishing in a tie once. In the most recent game, on September 29, 1990, in Columbus, Ohio, USC defeated Ohio State 35 to 26. The game had unique circumstances however, as it was suspended with two minutes remaining because of a thunderstorm.
