The arrest of three men on Saturday September 19, 2009 in connection with a possible bombing threat, has led the Federal agents on the trail of least a dozen more people with possible connections to the three, a source close to the investigation told CNN. The search is concentrated on the Colorado and New York City areas.
The three men arrested on Saturday were all of Afghanistan origin, and allegedly planned to detonate bombs in the United States.http://edition.cnn.com/2009/CRIME/09/22/terror.probe/index.html

Father Mohammed Wali Zazi, son Najibullah Zazi and Muslim cleric Ahmad Wais Afzali were arrested on saturday on the charge of lying to federal agents. Najibullah Zazi is said to have admitted he attended an al Qaeda training camp where he received weapons and explosives instructions, but these allegations are refuted by his attorney, Arthur Folsom.http://edition.cnn.com/2009/CRIME/09/22/terror.probe/index.html
