  • The United States sent 45 rowers, within 13 teams, and 10 alternates to the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, China. Seven men's crews and six women's crews competed at the Shunyi Olympic Rowing-Canoeing Park from August 9 to August 17, 2008.

    Since rowing was introduced into the Olympics in 1900, U.S. rowing crews have won a total of 84 medals, including 31 gold medals.
