The US Airways Center is a multi-purpose, Sports & Entertainment, facility owned by the City of Phoenix and jointly operated by the Phoenix Arena Development Corporation and the Phoenix Suns. Located in downtown Phoenix the center opened in 1992, as the America West Arena. Currently three professional sports teams call US Airways Center home, the NBA’s Phoenix Suns, the WNBA’s Phoenix Mercury, and the AFL’s Arizona Rattlers. The center will host the 2008 NCAA Men's Basketball West Regional on March 27th & 29th.
