Unreal Tournament 2003 is a first person shooter and the sequel to Unreal Tournament. This was a very popular online multiplayer game and had the most demo downloads of all time. Unreal Tournament 2003, unlike it's predecessor had the increased competition of several other first person shooter games that came out around this time. In 2004, Unreal Tournament 2004 a new version of this game, with added levels and more complexity showed up on store shelves and took the place of this game. However, because Unreal Tournament 2003 just came out not long before, people were given a discount on the game if they could prove they had purchased this game.
Gameplay
There are several different game modes in this game. Some of the available modes include: Deathmatch, Capture the flag and Last Man Standing. All of these game modes have a similar objective in which you tactically kill the other opponent to win the game. They are best played with multiple players since it needs a minimum number of players in order to have other people to kill. If there are no other players, then the computer will become a player and your objective would be to kill the computer and win the game. In the single player version of the game, the purpose is to win the tournament and eventually defeat Malcolm, the main boss of the game.
Weapons and Mutators
Unreal Tournament 2003 features 11 different weapons, each with a different skill set in order to master the weapon. As if these are not enough weapons, there are also mutators which add different characteristics to the weapons and which change the difficulty of the game.
