• Campus and Surrounding Area

  The University of Florida's main campus is located along the Escambia River on 1,600-acre area with hills and forest. It is 10 miles north of Pensacola's downtown.

  There are also campuses at Fort Walton Beach, Eglin Air Force Base and Hurlburt Field. There is a university owned beach property on the Santa Rosa Island used for recreation, academics and research. The university also owns 22 historic areas in downtown Pensacola.
