The University of Tulsa is a private, accredited, doctoral degree granting institution. The college offers undergraduate and graduate degrees. The University of Tulsa offers degree programs in nursing, law, applied health, engineering, science, business, education, art, and the humanities. TU is situated near downtown Tulsa on a 200 acre campus that features a law school and a school of engineering on site. The school offers Bachelors, Master, and Doctoral degree programs, as well as fellowships and research opportunities. There are currently over 300 faculty members at TU, all of which hold advanced degrees. The average cost of attendance at the University of Tulsa exceeds $20,000 a year for undergraduate students. TU law school students can expect to pay over $100,000 a year in tuition. Children of TU alumni receive additional scholarship opportunities provided by the school.

University of Tulsa History
The University of Tulsa was founded as the Presbyterian School for Indian Girls in 1882. In [[1894], the school became Henry Kendall College. Henry Kendall College is still the name of the TU engineering and natural sciences college today. In 1907, the campus was moved to its current home of Tulsa, Oklahoma. The institution officially became the University of Tulsa in 1926.
The university consists of the College of Engineering and Natural Sciences, the College of Law, the College of Business Administration, the Henry Kendall College of Arts and Sciences, the Division of Continuing Education and the Graduate School.UTulsa.edu: History
