  • History

    In 1821, a group of Philadelphia pharmacists founded the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy with the intention of training students in a scientific standard that would improve their profession. The college opened its doors to women in 1876.   • The Campus

    The 35-acre campus is part of University City, a neighborhood in Philadelphia that the school shares with the University of Pennsylvania.

    USP has five colleges:

    1. Philadelphia College of Pharmacy
    2. College of Health Sciences
    3. Misher College of Arts and Sciences
    4. College of Graduate Studies
    5. Mayes College of Healthcare Business and Policy
