UNC Charlotte offers 89 bachelor's degree programs, 62 master's degree programs and 18 doctoral degree programs.Football
In September 2008, the Chancellor proposed that UNC Charlotte start a football program in 2013. The Board of Trustees would need to approve the plan, which would be partially funded by student fees. UNC Charlotte does not currently have a football stadium. The team would begin in the lower-tier Football Championship Subdivision (formerly known as Division 1 AA.
