  • University History

    The University of Manitoba was founded in 1877. Since its opening it has gained affiliations with many other schools, including Manitoba Agricultural College, St. Paul's College and St. Andrews College, among others. The school added its medical program in 1960, with the education and law schools following in 1955 and 1956 respectively.
