University of Dayton

The University of Dayton, is a private, Catholic university located in southwest Ohio. It is a member of the Atlantic 10 athletic conference.

The school was founded in 1850 by the Society of Mary. Originally a boy's boarding school, the institution assumed its current name in 1920.
