Unity 08 is an online grassroots political movement whose goal was to nominate a third party "Unity" candidate to run for President in 2008. An online "convention" was originally scheduled to be held in June of 2008 to nominate a ticket. However, the movement did not receive the support it needed to go through with its mission.Official Site: Unity 08
