The United States Military Academy at West Point is a federal military academy, granting undergraduate degrees. Its athletic teams are members of the Patriot League.
Admission
All candidates being considered for admission into the U.S. Military Academy must meet certain criteria to get into the program. Candidates must be at least 17 years old, but no older than 23 years of age. A candidate cannot be married nor have a child that they are required to support. Moral character is also taken into account. Candidates are subject to physical testing as well as standardized written testing. Generally, candidates must meet the requirements of medical and vision tests. However, competitive candidates can be eligible for a medical waiver.
