United States Holocaust Memorial Museum

  • The United States Holocaust Museum (USHMM) serves as educational center for genocide studies and a "living memorial" to the victims of the Holocaust during World War II. It is located in Washington DC.http://www.ushmm.org/museum/mission/

    On June 10, 2009, James Von Brunn, described as a racist and white supremacist, entered the museum, and shot and killed security guard Stephen Tyrone Johns.
