The United States Air Force Academy is a four-year institution that serves to educate officers of the U.S. Air Force. Located just north of Colorado Springs, Colorado, the Academy offers a Bachelors of Science degree to graduating cadets, most of which leave as commissioned Second Lieutenants. Besides being a institution of higher learning, the Academy is also a popular tourist attraction and draws over 1 million tourists each year.

The Cadet Chapel is the most recognizable building on campus and is often seen as the symbol of the school. With its modernist architecture and spired design, the Chapel was designed and built in 1958 by architect Walter Netsch, Jr.-
