Ultra Music Festival

A massive festival in both artist count and visual flourishes, the Miami-based Ultra Music Festival, part of the annual Winter Music Conference, offers up the top and emerging electronic artists. Tossing in some of the most cutting edge rock bands into the mix, the festival weaves a giant sonic tapestry over the course of two packed days of music.

The Ultra Music festval, sponsored by Ultra Records began in 1999. It has traditionally been part of the Winter Music Conference. It began as a one exhibition, but the popularity of the cutting edge acts began to fill an entire weekend in 2007.

The weekend has grown in each year and now occupies three days and has moved venues three times to accommodate the ever growing crowds.
