Synopsis
Ultimate X-Men features the adventures of a young group of X-Men in the alternate world of the Ultimate Marvel Universe. Based loosely off of the first X-Men film in 2000, the series focuses more on action and character development than intricate plots.Some interesting reveals in Ultimate X-Men include a romance between Storm and Beast, as well as Colossus admitting to being gay - despite a relationship with Kitty Pryde.
Since its debut in 2001, Ultimate X-Men has remained a popular Marvel title. It usually outsells all other "X" titles on a monthly basis.
