History
Uglydolls were created by David Horvath and Sun-Min Kim in 2001. David would send Sun-Min letters with a small sketch of a Wage at the bottom. Sun-Min surprised David one day by sewing together a little Wage. David asked for a couple more dolls, and sold them at Giant Robot. The dolls were a huge success and immediately sold out! Four years later, they won toy of the year!

About Uglydolls
Uglydolls are toys that made their debut in 2001. These dolls are different from your typical doll: they are brightly colored, oddly shaped, and are what one might call 'ugly'.
