There are six distinct fighting techniques available in UFC 2009 Undisputed: three grappling and three striking. Striking techniques include boxing, kickboxing and Muay Thai. Grappling includes wrestling, judo and Brazilian jiu-jitsu. Each fighter is assigned one striking and one grappling technique.
