• NFL Career

  Tyson Thompson was signed by the Cowboys after going undrafted in 2005. He played in 15 games during his rookie season as a backup running back. He was also used to return kicks. Thompson rushed for a total on 182 yards on 46 carries in his first season.

  In three seasons with the Cowboys, Thompson played in a total of 30 regular-season games, gaining 266 rushing yards on 73 attempts.
