Tyson Thompson is a professional football running back in the National Football League. He is currently a free agent, having played most recently with the Dallas Cowboys.
NFL Career

Tyson Thompson was signed by the Cowboys after going undrafted in 2005. He played in 15 games during his rookie season as a backup running back. He was also used to return kicks. Thompson rushed for a total on 182 yards on 46 carries in his first season.
In three seasons with the Cowboys, Thompson played in a total of 30 regular-season games, gaining 266 rushing yards on 73 attempts.
