Tyson Foods is a multinational food production company dealing in chicken, beef, and pork. They are the world's largest meat producer and supply many major fast food chains. Tyson Foods began as one man selling chickens raised in Arkansas out of state where he could get a better price. John Tyson quickly integrated his company, so he was involved in all aspect of chicken farming, from raising the grain for their food, to hatching the chicks, to raising, killing and selling the chickens. Today, in addition to providing fresh and frozen meat to supermarkets, restaurants, and food service outlets, Tyson Foods also manufactures and provides "value added" products, that is cooked chicken, beef and pork products that are sold in supermarket fresh and frozen aisles.
