Tyrus Thomas is an American professional basketball player who plays for the Charlotte Bobcats in the NBA.
Early Life
Tyrus Wayne Thomas was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on August 17, 1986. He attended high school at McKinley in Louisiana. He continued his education at Louisiana State University. Pro Career
After Thomas was drafted, he was traded to the Chicago Bulls with Viktor Khryapa for LaMarcus Aldridge. In his first season with the Bulls, Thomas played in 72 games and averaged 5.2 points and 3.7 rebounds in 13.4 minutes per game.
