    Tyrone Carter was selected by the Minnesota Vikings in the fourth round of the 2000 NFL Draft. In three seasons with the Vikings, Carter played in 46 games before he was released. In 2003, Carter signed with the New York Jets. He started 10 of the 16 games he played in, recording 88 total tackles.

    Carter signed with the Steelers in 2004, playing in a backup role. He won a Super Bowl with the Steelers in 2006 and was named the starting safety at the end of the 2007 season.Steelers.com: Tyrone Carter
