During Super Bowl XLII, on a critical third down in the fourth quarter, Eli Manning scrambled away from defenders to throw a 32-yard completion to David Tyree. The catch was made by securing the ball against his helmet before falling to the turf. The original play including Tyree's post route was called "Phantom".
