Tyra Banks

Tyra Banks is an American model, television personality, talk show host and actress.She is the owner of TyInc., her own company. Banks made her modeling debut in Paris. From there she moved on to Milan, London, Tokyo and New York. She has been featured on the cover of popular fashion magazines such as Vogue, Cosmopolitan, Harper's Bazaar and Elle. She hosts the popular television programs The Tyra Banks Show and America's Next Top Model.

Tyra's Antm show had a Hawaiian photo shoot which gained a lot of criticism beacuse the models were turned to black. Tyra replied that her intension was to spread beauty and to break the barriers. Tyra herself did take the pictures. She said the photoshoot was inspired by the Hawaiian word Hapa, which happens when people of mixed race have kids together.
