Typhoon Lupit (regional name 'Ramil') is a tropical storm in the Philippines region, that emerged on October 14, 2009 as a tropical depression.

History
Typhoon Lupit follows in the wake of Super typhoon Pepeng, which was a typhoon in end September and start of October of 2009.
