Arrested Twice Before
Police have stated that Weinman has been arrested twice before as a juvenile, though they would not provide any details at this time.
The suspect lived on the same street as four of the confirmed victims.
Pet Owners breathe a sigh of relief
Pet owners in Dade County, Florida are sleeping a little more soundly this evening after police announced that they had taken into Custody a suspect in the recent cat mutilations.
Over the past months, an estimated 19 cats have been found killed, mutilated and/or skinned.
The suspect has been charged with 19 felony counts of animal cruelty, 19 misdemeanor counts of improperly disposing of an animal body and four felony counts of burglary related to the deaths. Officials stated that a court date has been set for July.
