    Two Lovers tells the story of Leonard (Joaquin Phoenix), who recently recovered from a nasty break-up and a suicide attempt. He moves back to his childhood home in an attempt to rebuild his life, under the watchful eyes of his parents. During his stay, Leonard meets two women, Michelle (Gwyneth Paltrow) and Sandra (Vinessa Shaw). Michelle is mysterious, beautiful and vivacious, while Sandra is equally beautiful, but also caring and dependable.
