Two and a Half Men is a television sitcom centered around a freewheeling bachelor whose lifestyle is interrupted when his brother, Alan (and Alan's son) move in. Charlie Sheen plays "Charlie" the hip, jingle writing brother who lives in an un-kidproofed beach house in Malibu, California. Jon Cryer plays his uptight brother "Alan", and Angus T. Jones plays the role of "Jake". Holland Taylor and Conchata Ferrell play supporting roles as "Jake" and "Charlie's" mother and maid respectively.
Jon Cryer won his first Emmy Award in 2009 for Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for Two and a Half Men.
