Twizzlers is a brand of licorice fruit snack candy. Despite being called licorice, most Twizzler flavors do not contain traditional licorice ingredients.
Y&S Candies

Founded in 1945, Y&S Candies merged with two other firms to form the National Licorice Company. Y&S Candies was purchased by Hershey's in 2005.
Twizzler Varieties

Twizzlers come in many varieties and flavors. strawberry, cherry, watermelon, chocolate, and licorice are the main flavors. Twizzlers also come in different shapes and sizes. This includes Twizzler Twists, Bites, Nibs, and Pull'n'Peel, which are stringy candy that is pulled and eaten piece by piece. Twerpz and Strawz were introduced in 2004. Several other novelty variations of Twizzlers also exist.
