An electronic gadget has been developed which when connected from a plant to a mobile device sends a message to an owner through twitter that a plant needs to be watered. The group Botanicalls developed the program. The technology uses a moisture sensor to gauge when a plant needs watering.
The plant will send a message through twitter when it needs more moisture, if it was watered but hasn't reached desired moisture level, if it's watered too much and also if the desired moisture level has been achieved.Emily Chang: Now your plants can call or twitter you
