The Twilight Series is a collection of young adult novels by author Stephenie Meyer. The first book in the series, Twilight, has been adapted into a 2008 movie. Between the four books and the film, numerous spoilers have been released to the public. The series revolves around the love story of a perpetually 17-year-old vampire (Edward Cullen) and a human girl (Bella Swan) in the rainy town of Forks, Washington.

Edward Cullen appears to be a 17 year-old high school student but he is actually a 108 year-old vampire. Thanks to the the foggy weather in Washington state Edward is able to go out in the daytime.
In Twilight, Bella learns Edward's secret. She decides their love is more important than her own safety and decides to pursue the relationship.
