TV on the Radio is an indie rock band from New York City whose music blurs the lines between a variety of genres, including rock, jazz, trip-hop and electronica.
TV on the Radio are scheduled to be the musical guest on Saturday Night Live this Saturday, February 7. Actor Bradley Cooper will be the guest host.
Career
Since forming in 2001, the band has released a number of acclaimed EPs and two full-length albums and has received a mountain of critical praise. While the band's debut album Desperate Youth, Blood Thirsty Babes was a critical success and earned the band the 2004 Shorlist Music Prize, 2006 was their breakout year when, after releasing the album Return to Cookie Mountain, the band landed on a number of year-end top 10 lists, including being named "Band of the Year" by Spin Magazine.
