  • Career

    Since forming in 2001, the band has released a number of acclaimed EPs and two full-length albums and has received a mountain of critical praise. While the band's debut album Desperate Youth, Blood Thirsty Babes was a critical success and earned the band the 2004 Shorlist Music Prize, 2006 was their breakout year when, after releasing the album Return to Cookie Mountain, the band landed on a number of year-end top 10 lists, including being named "Band of the Year" by Spin Magazine.
